I'm Muneet Narang, and for the past 6 years, I've dedicated myself to working with various community groups and non-profit organizations, with a focus on supporting victims of family violence and empowering Indian mums. Through podcasts and hands-on assistance, I've actively connected individuals within the Indian community, providing both education and support.
In 2021, following the challenges brought by COVID, I became an active member of the Liberal Party and have since served as the Secretary of the Tarneit Liberal office. After moving to Wyndham Vale, I became more engaged in local social groups, deepening my involvement in community outreach. My strong Liberal values have been shaped by the guidance and mentorship of several key figures:
- Bruce Atkinson: former President of the Victorian Legislative Council.
- Matthew Guy: current Member of Parliament and former Leader of the Liberal Party of Victoria.
- Craig Ondarchie: former Shadow Minister for Multicultural Affairs in Victoria.
- Trung Luu: sitting Member of the Victorian Parliament.
These mentors have inspired and guided me throughout my journey, and I’ve proudly contributed to numerous events and campaigns, including supporting candidates like Ravi G and Preet Singh.
Having lived in Melbourne’s western suburbs since 2010, I’ve always been passionate about making a difference in our community. I consistently volunteer for initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in our region, striving to create a brighter, more inclusive future for all. I invite you to join me on this journey to foster positive change in our neighborhoods. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
